Visit the Software Cluster (booth S13) at Digital FUTUREcongress in Frankfurt on 14.02.2019 for the Germany premiere of an Industry 4.0. solution developed by the Software-Cluster with partners from Singapore. At the Software Cluster booth visitors can test an interactive Augmented Reality solution offering guidance for maintenance, repair and operational work.

On 14.02.19 at the Digital FUTUREcongress 2019 in Frankfurt the Software Cluster and its representatives are debuting an augmented-reality solution demonstrator for the first time in Germany. In conjunction with the Singaporean partners Fraunhofer Singapore and LDR Technologythe Software Cluster has developed a technological solution that combines the advantages of Industry 4.0 solutions “Made in Germany” with the readily available mobile IT infrastructures in Singapore.

The AR solution uses smart analytics of sensors and machine behavior to drive predictive maintenance. Technicians receive essential, real-time information via a mobile device in the form of precise and clear instructions for maintenance, real-time state control of the machine and components as well as augmented virtual information (3D + metadata + technical support) during repair and operational tasks.

At the Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) 2018, a HANNOVER MESSE in Singapore, the Software-Cluster and its representatives has introduced the Augmented Reality solution customized for a vending machine from the food and beverage company Chef-in-Box – which is part of the JR Holdings Group. For some impressions of the ITAP please check out this video.

The demonstrator is the product of the ongoing “SCIKE Singapore” project funded by the German Ministry for Research and Education (BMBF). Partners are CAS Software AG, Fraunhofer IGD, intelligent views, invenio Engineers Karlsruhe GmbH, Software AG, TU Darmstadt and vsonix.
